got ahead of Christ

went to the Living Nativity tonight.

it always touches me in some personal way.

this time however, it wasn't one of the 'scenes' yet an inbetween occurance that i could have easily missed.

we had just finished one scene and 'Christ' told us to follow him to the next one. i was in the back so i started off to the next one. i noticed no one was with me and looked back and did not see 'Christ', and then turned to my husbend and said nonchalantly;  "opps. i got ahead of Christ!" to which i preceeded to add, "i do that sometimes."

whoa.

yeah.....  that got me.

with, marriage, moving, jobs and baby desires,  i often times find myself ahead of Christ.

tonight i stopped.

 looked around.

recognized & identified 'Christ'.

kept my eyes on him and waited.

then i followed His lead.
