join us as we;
* live these lives we have been given
* learn how family looks to our Lord
* deny self
* get to the 'doing' of the hearing (James)
*work on learning not 'my' way or 'your' way, but HIS way {John 14:6}
* hebrews 10:24 it
*realize our depravity and need for the Savior

*submit to one another out of reverence to Christ

of note

spotting Gumby mugs at Ross

had to get a new spiral journal (non-spiral journal writing is not  conducive) . slim pickings at Ross after seeing many there in December. This one has part of Psalm 34:12-14 on  the front, which is one of my memory verses this year.
SOLD.

encouragement

Mr. Papasan. On clearance. Gave any mine years ago when we moved and didn't have room for it.
Try as I might, i don't think we really have a spot for one now either.

getting texts/messages of friends receiving the mail I sent and how they were encouraged

snagged this glider and footstool at goodwill. been seeing what these go for, (even used) and knew this was a deal at $40 in good condition.
husbend liking it was a sweet bonus!

around the web:
* he wore confidence like an oversized parka
* Every couple should have a grand mission to accomplishtogether...
* When was the last time you prayed for God to work, show you what you're supposed to learn, and teach others in a difficult situation instead of just asking Him to get you out of it?

  1. Score on the glider! I had a papasan chair back in college and gave it away many years ago. Recently we rented a beach house and they had one on the front porch. That chair was never empty! I'd like to find one somewhere other than at World Market where they are about $200. Maybe I'll luck out at a Goodwill.

  3. Oh I love Papasan chairs. I had to leave mine with my parents when I moved down here to Guatemala. They are the best though!

  4. Thanks for stopping by the Sugar & Spice blog, and for the encouragement for the new home! I LOVE the glider, what a fantastic find. I never seem to find those amazing pieces at good will, although I continue to look. It's like a treasure hunt!
