join us as we;
* live these lives we have been given
* learn how family looks to our Lord
* deny self
* get to the 'doing' of the hearing (James)
*work on learning not 'my' way or 'your' way, but HIS way {John 14:6}
* hebrews 10:24 it
*realize our depravity and need for the Savior

*submit to one another out of reverence to Christ

22. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Completed my 32nd year of life. Was in CA. went to Denny’s with husbend and father for my free breakfast. Got yummy leafy bean drink. Took flowers to grandma, AP. Mani/pedi with h. hallmark store. Flowers to my birthmother Lisa (first time we have been together on my birthday since she birthed me).  Drove up to San Bernardino and on the way stopped at 2 christian bookstores and scored on clearance shirts. Then went to Nathan and Marina’s wedding rehearsal and dinner.

23. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
  I struggle with this. My immediate response is regarding area’s I need to improve in, yet, my source of satisfaction remains the same. Did I turn to my Source instead of other things/people?  Room for growth there.

24. What kept you sane?
Our Lord. Memorizing scriptures {interrupt your thoughts/feelings with the Word}. Those who spoke truth to me {AP‘s}. Discipline/routine. Exercise helped much.

25. What political issue stirred you the most?
Well, the clarification of incremental regulation of murder vs existing laws in relation to murder applying to all (born and unborn) period.

26. What was the best movie you saw?
Tears of the Sun
Christmas with a Capitol C  [much to discuss, question and do]
BIRTH CONTROL:  How Did We Get Here? (want to borrow it?)
After Earth
Benji: The Hunted (riveting)

28. Who was the best new person you met?
Debbie! My new AP from FPU!

29. A valuable life lesson you learned in 2013?
[turn] pride into praise
I am a sinner in need of the Savior
Anything other than God’s design for marriage-is NOT marriage
I can like something-doesn’t mean I have to buy it
Spending money I don’t have (in the account) is lieing
The importance of stopping and sitting in/responding to the Holy Spirit’s prompting/speaking/revealing/conviction/insight  IN THE MOMENT. Not putting off till later. (can’t be put off till later)

30. Area’s of growth:
Discipline in exercise
stewarding money-recognizing that it is His not mine
Entering into marriage

Area’s of struggle:
Fear (of man)
Impatience/anger/disdain towards Jer/controlling.
Fellowship
Food
fostering
sexual intimacy

31. Pet Peeves:
The expectation of “Abolishing Abortion” this side of heaven and the label therein
Excitement re: others fostering. Thinking we are like minded, then finding out that others fostering does not mean we are like minded.
Taking pictures/video/watching life thru a lens rather than just fully experiencing it in the moment with your own senses
Entertaining vs. fellowship in your home
Telling me to go adopt someone’s kid
People spilling/announcing other peoples news on FB. Before they have.
Those who think/say adoption is for those who ‘can’t have kids’ (and that phrase as well)
When my asking someone a question for clarification = them changing their mind/plans

32. What bible studies did you do/participate in?
Celebrate Jesus by Mainstay Ministries
Ruth/Esther/1 & 2 Thess
The Love Dare
The Lords Table
Reading Romans 1-8 for 50 days and then John 15 for 31 days

33. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
Take me away till I that I love is you, is you Lord ~ Sarah Kelly

and yours?
