2009 year-in-review

1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
    Met a man on a Christian dating site (http://www.christianmingle.com), planned a wedding in less than 3 months. Went off of my meds. Moved to Riverside. Commuted to work (ugh).


2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
    So don’t remember what they were. If it was to get in shape- i failed miserably- ALTHOUGH i did marry a Personal Trainer. So, here's to hoping!


3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
    My dear friend Lindsay. Looking forward to meeting him!


4. Did anyone close to you die?
    Lost a co-worker unexpectedly and some of the residents from where I worked.

5. What countries did you visit?
    Didn’t.


6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
     Stability. Employment. Things to have settled down.


7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
   Being the date gurl that I am, there are a few;
   Feb. 18 - met Jeremiah online
   March 1- met Jeremiah in person
   March 21- engaged
   June 20- married
   December 31- arriving in GJ, Colorado

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
   I would have to say, maintaining a relationship, working full-time, planning a wedding, and going off of my meds all at the same time.


9. What was your biggest failure?
    Impatience.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
   Nothing serious


11. What was the best thing you bought?
   My first laptop? Our bed?


12. Where did most of your money go?
   To the wedding and our upcoming life together. Gas. Food. Bills. Cards.



13. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
   Um, my wedding day. Being MARRIED!


14. What song will always remind you of 2009?
  Sarah Kelly’s whole BORN TO WORSHIP cd


15. What do you wish you'd done more of?

Pray. Read and memorized the Word. Exercise. Slowed down. Been fully in the moment.


16. What do you wish you'd done less of?
 Eat.


17. How will you be spending Christmas?
   We spent it with both families at my parents house having our beloved Mexican Christmas.


18. Did you fall in love in 2009?
  Didn’t fall.


19. What was your favorite TV program?
  After we got married (and had more time) I got him into Mad About You. And then he got me into LOST.


20. What was the best book you read?
      Sacred Marriage by Gary Thomas


21. What was your greatest musical discovery?
    I’ll put Sarah Kelly  again for this one. Didn’t really ‘discover’ any new music this year.


22. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
    Completed my 28th year. Jeremiah went to Tea with me- and liked it!

23. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
     No comment.


24. What kept you sane?
 Friendship. AP. bubble baths.


25. What political issue stirred you the most?
     Abortion- possibly being paid for by our taxes?

  Transformers

   My family-in-love
